🚙 Jeep Hire Prices
Jeep (4WD) is the primary transport in Bandarban hills. Most routes are inaccessible by normal car.

🛶 Boat Hire on Sangu River
Deep jungle routes to Nafakhum and Remakri require boat travel on the Sangu River.

Getting to Bandarban from major cities.

Essential Transport Tips
Avoid Monsoon Travel
June–September rains make mountain roads dangerous. Several routes become impassable. Stick to Oct–May.
Start Early
Always leave Bandarban town by 7–8am for long routes. Getting stuck on mountain roads after dark is dangerous.
Split Jeep Costs
Jeep prices are per vehicle, not per person. A group of 6–8 makes costs very reasonable — ৳500–800 each.
No Signal in Hills
Mobile signal disappears after Chimbuk. Download offline maps (Maps.me) and save your guesthouse address before leaving town.
